YUNDI

Critical superlatives and audience ovations have continuously followed Yundi’s dazzling career. He is a global phenomenon and an elegant ambassador for classical music, from Carnegie Hall to Spring Festival Gala, and his virtuoso technique and irresistible charisma. World-top orchestras and conductors with whom he has collaborated include the Berliner Philharmoniker, Seiji Ozawa, Berliner Philharmoniker and so on.

Legendary young pianist Yundi was propelled onto the international stage when he won first prize at the XIV Chopin International Piano Competition at the age of 18, becoming the youngest and first Chinese winner in the history of the prestigious competition. Since then, he has been regarded as a leading exponent of Chopin’s music. In February 2020, Yundi will continue his award-winning exploration of the Sonata Piano Recital Tour of Chopin/ Schubert/ Rachmaninoff by embarking on five exclusive headline dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Aukland.
